Full day sightseeing adventure safari by jeep from Ayia Napa, Protaras and Larnaca. Please book at least 24 hours in advance.
The first stop of the day is at one of the islands oldest monasteries in the picturesque mountain village of Mosfiloti. Famous for it's holy water, this monastery is said to have been founded by St Helen in the 4th century. Following this we visit an abandoned copper mine with it's distinctive red lake and unsual rock formations.
We stop for a coffee in a traditional Kafenio in a tony mountain village where you can soak up the local atmosphere, before continuing off-road high into the mountains for breath-taking panoramic views.
The highlight of the day is next with a visit to the tranquil secret lagoon where you can swim in the clear waters. We then visit a museum visit where time has stood still and you can step back in time to how Cypriots lived in centuries past. There are is a taverna here where you can choose to purchase lunch if you wish.
Our final stop of the day is the popular and charming village of Lefkara. Famous for it's lace making and silver workshops, the village has many tiny shops with locally made crafts and you can watch the craftspeople at work. The maze of cobbled streets contain impressive local architecture and colourful flowers spill from pots on doorsteps and windowsills everywhere.
