Description

On this unique tour we visit two abandoned copper mines; Mathiatis Copper Mine and Skouriotissa Copper Mine. Both these mines have a fascinating history and have left an indelible mark on the landscape around them.

Located in the foothills of the Troodos Mountains, mining activity does still go on in the area as the price of copper has risen and other minerals are also present in the rich Cypriot rock.

This tour lasts around 5-6 hours and your own private guide will show you the wonders of this historic location.

This is a private tour for 2 people. A 3rd and 4th person can be added at a supplement. pick up time is 09.00am from hotels in the Larnaca areas.
