The Akamas Peninsula is one of the most unspoilt and beautiful places in Cyprus. Endless dramatic coastline drops into crystal clear seas dotted with tiny sandy coves where sea turtles nest. Fragrant pine forests hide stunning natural wonders, gorges, waterfalls and secret pools.

The first stop of the day is Aphrodite's rock where the mythological goddess is said to have been born from the sea foam. Stop for photo's before you continue west along the beautiful coastline past Paphos to Akamas.

Take a short hike through the dramatic Avakas Gorge and experience the tranquility of the Akamas forest. Travel along the vast sweep of the rocky coast with its numerous caves and visit Lara Bay, which is the only nesting ground of the Mediterranean green turtle. After passing through the fascinating natural landscape you will have the chance to soak up the atmosphere in the picturesque seaside fishing village of Latchi.

The tour then continues with a visit to the baths of Aphrodite where you can enjoy a refreshing dip in the stunning natural pool. Legend has it that Aphrodite, the Goddess of love, would bathe here with her lover Adonis. The water is said to have rejuvenating properties. This excursion is available as a private tour and is a full day voyage of discovery. Ideal for nature lovers and adventurers.
