The Discovery boat trips sails from 11 May to end October, weather permitting.

It sails on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. additional days will be added if all these days are fully booked.

Description

Depart from the pretty harbour of Ayia Napa onboard the Discovery Boat for this relaxing sightseeing cruise along the stunning Cypriot coastline.

The cruise heads eastwards past Ayia Napa's beaches and there is full live commentary on board in both English and German. The first point of interest we see is the Ayia Napa sea caves where you will hear tales of pirate legends. Continuing to the impressive rocky summit of Cape Greco, there is chance to swim at the beautiful Konnos Bay Blue Lagoon.

Sail on towards the busy resort of Protaras and Fig Tree Bay and on to the viewpoint of the ghost town of Famagusta. There are further swimming stops throughout the day and a tasty BBQ lunch is freshly prepared on board and included in your ticket price - (BBQ, carrot salad, mixed salad, grilled bread, tzatziki and grilled halloumi)

Soak up the sun and top up your tan on the sundeck or enjoy a refreshing dip in the crystal clear waters of the Mediterranean sea. There are plenty of gorgeous sights to take photo's of along the journey and you can also make a new friend on board when you meet Coco the parrot. Children are especially keen to meet Coco and like to keep him company during the trip.

Perfect for families, couples and friends, the Discovery cruise is a full day journey upon this comfortable boat. There is a bar on board as well as toilet and shower and there is seating both inside and outside, as well as the sun deck for sun bathing.

Itinerary / Route

The trip departs at 09.30am, returning around 15.30.

The boat will cruise from Ayia Napa harbour eastwards towards the sea caves and Cape Greco, on to Konnos Bay / Blue Lagoon, past Protaras and Fig Tree bay up to the Famagusta ghost town viewpoint.

It then returns back to Ayia Napa harbour.

Please book at least 24 hours in advance.

We ask for a second choice of date in case your first choice is already fully booked, as this can happen at very busy times of year.

If you choose a ticket type which includes lunch, the BBQ lunch will consist of fresh BBQ Chicken and pork cooked on board, halloumi, mixed salad, carrot salad, local bread and tzatziki.

A vegetarian option is available. Please notify us at the time of booking if you require this option.

Know before you go - Important Information

This boat is not wheelchair accessible.

Children are welcome on board under their parents/guardians supervision.

This boat sails from Ayia Napa harbour. Transport to the harbour is not included unless you choose a ticket type which includes this.

The boat trip departs at 09.30am. Passengers should arrive at the harbour at least 15 minutes before departure.

In the case of bad weather for sailing, we may need to reschedule your trip. If this happens we will offer an alternative date/time. If we can not find a suitable alternative we will refund your payment.
