Great fun for all the family, and a fantastic introduction to real Cypriot hospitality in a countryside location. Description
An unforgettable journey into the culture of the island of Cyprus. Discover traditional products, including a live show halloumi cheese making and traditional baking of bread. Other traditional products you can learn about at the farm include the history and modern production of olive oil and donkey milk products. All products are available to sample so you can taste and try various foods, flavours and beauty products.
There is a small traditional house museum on the farm, with some wax works and displays of items traditionally used for farming in days gone by. Walk through the farm and enjoy the native trees and the tranquil surroundings.
You will have chance to meet the donkeys on the farm and join in with a donkey safari ride around the fields. Kids can ride on donkeys if they wish for no extra charge. Adults can also take a short donkey ride for a small additional charge, please note that weight restrictions apply.
As the sun sets, the fun really begins as we sit down to a delicious buffet dinner of traditional Cypriot food. Wine and water is included and then you can enjoy a dancing show of famous Greek and Cypriot dances by our professional team. Expect bouzouki music, traditional costumes and a fabulous show of dances.
You have the chance to join in with the dances, get up on the dancefloor and learn the "Sirtaki" let your hair down and relax in the beautiful twilight setting.
This trip is an absolutely unforgettable journey into the culture of the island of Cyprus, including food, dancing, music and traditional home made products.
The Donkey farm is located in Skarinou village, halfway between Larnaca and Limassol. It is home to over 170 donkeys, each with it's own name. It preserves the heritage of Cyprus and these friendly and industrious animals This is the biggest donkey farm in Cyprus and probably, one of the biggest in Europe. Milking is done in a special designed space, in accordance with the requirements of the EU.
At the farm you will also find a lot of other interesting things such as a small wax museum, the traditional Cyprus house, an ancient olive press, a small botanical garden, an amphitheater, one of the oldest olive trees in Cyprus and the small church of Virgin Mary of Memila. The farm is tranquil, peaceful and surrounded by unspoilt countryside.
Pick up points / Locations
This tour is available from Ayia Napa areas, Protaras / Pernera/Kapparis areas, Larnaca tourist area and city centre and Limassol tourist areas.
Pick up will be from designated pick up points around the resort. Your nearest pick up point may be a few minutes walk from your hotel. Your exact pick up location and time will be advised upon confirmation.
Please be waiting at the pick up point before the time stated in case the bus is running early.
Pick up times start around 14.50 in Ayia Napa and Protaras, 16.30 in Larnaca and 16.00 in Limassol.

The front seats of the bus may only be reserved for people with disabilities.
Children are welcome on this activity under their parents/guardians supervision.
Pick up times start at 14.50 in Ayia Napa and Protaras, 16.00 in Limassol and 16.30 in Larnaca area.
Return times are around 22.30 to Ayia Napa and 23.00 to Protaras.
