Green bay is often likened to an open aquarium due to the abundance of sea life that can be found in this area. Located mid way between Ayia Napa and Protaras, Green Bay is a quiet rocky cove where you might find sea turtles, lion fish, sea horses and all kinds of fish species. This snorkelling trip is an ideal introduction into the wonders of the underwater world.

The snorkelling tour can only run when it is not too windy. If on your booked date the sea is not calm enough to run then we will need to reschedule your trip.
Please note that during the early and later months of the year the water is significantly colder than in the height of summer.

On the day of the trip you will be picked up from your hotel in the Protaras or Ayia Napa area and taken to Green bay.
Before entering the water you will receive a safety briefing by a fully trained dive professional. You will learn how to clear your snorkel, clear your mask and duck dive underwater as well as safe breathing techniques and all the other info you need to have a wonderful and safe snorkel at Green bay.
The snorkel trip is around 2-2.5 hours long. Photo's taken during the trip are available to purchase from the dive centre if you wish (no obligation to purchase, if you do with to they will cost €10, or free for groups of 4 people or more)
Green Bay is located on the outskirts of Protaras, not far from Ayia Napa. It is a shallow entry into the sea from the shore with few rocks and is calm and safe for confident swimmers.
During the early/later part of the year the water can feel much colder than at peak season. You may wish to wear a wetsuit at these times of year.
