A true adventure though the heart of Cyprus, This jeep excursion is a full day of discovery, important landmarks and sights. We begin our journey traveling by 4x4 landrover through panoramic mountain scenery and fragrant pine forests to some of the most remote places on the Island of Cyprus. We travel through the highest peaks until we reach the famous Kykkos monastery.

Kykkos monastery is the jewel in the crown of Cyprus, fabulously wealthy, richly decorated and dripping with gold, this holy site welcomes visitors from all over the world. Kykkos is home to one of the last remaining icons painted by St Luke of the Virgin Mary.

From Kykkos we travel on the traditional village of Pedoulas where you can enjoy free time to explore the village, or have lunch in one of the local tavernas.

We next go on a thrilling off-road journey which will bring us to the breathtaking waterfalls, located in a forest paradise with lush vegetation and cool spring waters you can take a splash in. We take a short walk along through the forest with a short stop to enjoy the tranquility of the waterfalls.

A perfect finish to the day is our last stop which is wine tasting at a mountain winery where you can sample several delicious local Cypriot wines.

This tour is available from Larnaca areas. Pick up from your hotel / apartment is included. Pick up times start around 08.30 from Larnaca.

Tour Schedule

This is a full day tour, around 11 hours duration. It is available any day March to November as a private tour or on selected days of the week, during the summer months. Please book at least 48 hours in advance.
