Set sail from Ayia Napa in search of the big catch - Tuna! Tuna season runs from June until August and the best time to catch them is at sunrise. Join our experienced captains on this tuna fishing adventure on board the Legasea!.

Available daily through June, July and into early August. Please book as far in advance as you can, and please give us a bit of flexibility with your dates.

Availability / Schedule

This trip is available every morning during tuna season (June - August), weather permitting and subject to minimum booking numbers (There must be 6 people booked for the boat to run)

We may need to offer you an alternative date if the boat is already full or if there are not enough passengers for your chosen date.

Please book as far in advance as you can. For last minute bookings, please contact us and we will do our best to book you on this trip.

Please give us a choice of dates so that we can find the best availability for you.

Exact dates of this trip starting/ending will depend on when the Tuna arrive in our waters and when they leave. Usually it is around the end of May until 2nd week of August.

Departure time will be at 04.00am

The duration is between 4 and 6 hours depending on the fishing, if we catch early it will be 4 hours, if we catch late it may be 6 hours.

Description

As the old saying goes, ‘a bad day fishing is always better than a good day at work’. Meet up with our well experienced captain at Ayia Napa harbour for an early morning or sunset fishing trip.

Experience the magic of the colours of the sky over the Mediterranean sea and try your hand at catching a big one. Our captains use the latest fish finding technology as well as their many years of experience to ensure you have a great time at sea and the best chance of reeling in a tuna.

Tuna season is usually June to August, but can be variable by a few weeks either way, depending on when the Tuna arrive in Cyprus waters. The tuna fishing trips usually sail before sunrise to have the best chance of getting a good catch. All equipment is included, with a maximum of 6 people on board fishing at one time, our captains will give instruction for beginners and we have enough equipment on board for each passenger to use.

Itinerary of this trip is subject to change without prior notice due to weather conditions or reasons beyond our control.

Transport to Ayia Napa harbour is not included.

Tuna season is June-August. We can't guarantee any specific dates until they arrive in Cyprus waters. Some years they might arrive in May or stay as late as August.

All indicated times are approximate and subject to change.

Not suitable for wheelchairs.

We cannot guarantee how many fish you will catch but our Captains will give you the best chance.

You may keep what you catch if you wish.

Tuna are usually only seen in coastal waters at sunrise and sunset. During the heat of the day they are almost impossible to catch.

This tour can be arranged as a private tour at a supplement if required. Please contact us to enquire about larger groups and private tours.
