A unique food experiences tour which combines sightseeing in some of the prettiest traditional villages in Cyprus with exploring new taste sensations and authentic Cypriot flavours. This tour includes 5 stops showing you traditional Cypriot products and how they’re made with tastings at each place, including a winery tour. A full meze lunch is also included. A small group excursion perfect for foodies, couples and groups of friends.

Description

This is a unique touring experience that is perfect for foodies, cooks and anyone who loves discovering new tastes and flavours.

This is a small group tour for a maximum of 7 people, where you'll be taken to a hand picked selected of beautiful, traditional villages in the Troodos Mountains. At each village you'll have the chance to visit workshops where they make traditional Cypriot products and delicacies.

You’ll learn about the sourcing of ingredients, the making process and the traditions linked to the products. We keep our tours authentic by visiting true locals and because these local villagers are busy with every day life – we cannot guarantee which stops we’ll be including… However, here’s an example list of products which are likely to be included – Halloumi Cheese, Honey, Olive Oil, Village Breads, Traditional Sweets, Wine etc. We guarantee a great day out and you can be sure that you’ll visit 5 fantastic places within the Troodos mountain villages and experience a foodie day tour like no other!

Part of our touring will be a visit to traditional village (which could be either; Lefkara, Omodos, Kakopetria, Kathikas, Pano Panayia) where you’ll have some free time to explore the craft shops, shop for souvenirs and see artisans at work.

Along the way we’ll also stop at a local village taverna to feast on a selection of Cypriot dishes with a full meze lunch including drinks.

This is truly a day packed with delicious flavours, sounds, smells, tastes and sights.

Departure points / Pick up locations

Pick up is available from all hotels / apartments / villas in the Ayia Napa & Protaras areas.
Pick up is also available from Larnaca (all city centre, tourist areas and nearby villages)
Pick up is also available from Limassol and Paphos (main hotel areas and nearby tourist areas)

Your pick up time will be around 08.30-09.00am. Your exact pick up time will be confirmed to you by the tour leader the evening before the tour once the day schedule is finalised.

Please book at least 7 days in advance. We ask that you give us a second choice of date in case our hosts or guide are already booked up for your chosen date. (Only 1 booking can take place per day)
