Discover the best of Cyprus' sights and monuments on this whistlestop tour. Archaeological wonders, stunning scenery and quaint villages combine to make this the perfect tour on which to see Cyprus with a private guide. We begin our tour via the direction of Nicosia and begin the climb to the magnificent Troodos mountains with a short stop for coffee along the way. We then proceed to the Monastery of Kykkos, by far the most famous on the island and home to one of only three surviving icons painted by Apostle Luke. This holy site is famous worldwide, fabulously wealthy and richly decorated with gold and painted frescoes.

Leaving Kykkos we then pass through some spectacular mountain scenery, driving through Platres village and onto the village of Pedoulas where you can enjoy lunch overlooing the village if you wish (lunch is optional and is not included in the price). Our next stop is at a traditional winery and vineyard for some wine tasting before we start making our way to Paphos harbour.

Here you will be given free time to explore the harbour, visit the ancient castle, the archaeological park with its well preserved mosaics or just sit back and enjoy a coffee while you take in the atmosphere. The entire city is a UNESCO world heritage site so there's plenty for everyone to see and do. We then start our journey back East and to our final stop; the legendary birthplace of the Goddess Aphrodite (Petra tou Romeou) where we enjoy a relaxing swim. We then continue our journey home, stopping for a coffee break along the way.
