On this fantastic tasting experience of Cyprus wines you will get to taste 10 quality Cypriot wines: 1 rose, 4 white, 4 red and 1 sweet wine plus 1 Cyprus spirit or liqueur. Our expert wine host will give you a description of each wine, food pairing suggestions and some history of Cyprus Wines. The tasting takes place in Larnaca old town.

The tasting will last 60-90 minutes.

Description

This wine tasting experience takes place at a well established wine cellar in the old town of Larnaca. The wine cellar has various tasting rooms for different sized groups including a delightful outdoor courtyard area. Hosted by wine expert Sergios, you will sample 10 locally produced Cypriot wines and 1 spirit or liqueur as he gives you a wealth of information on wine production in Cyprus and food pairing.

The wine tasting lasts around 60 to 90 minutes and cheese platters are available to purchase to accompany your wine (€14 per platter for 2-3 people). After this you can choose to spend a little more time at the wine cellar where wine is available to purchase by the glass or bottle. You can order full glasses of wines you liked most during the wine tasting, prices per glass vary depending on the wines.

This is a perfect tour for couples and groups of friends who enjoy wine. Singles can also join the tasting with other groups. You'll discover so much about the wonderful Cypriot wines as you taste them in this fabulous wine cellar. This wine tour is an amazing experience and hosted by an extremely knowledgeable wine expert who will give you plenty of information about Cyprus wine production, the grape varieties and food pairing.

Location

The wine cellar is located in Larnaca Old town, close to Ayios Lazarus church.
Transport to the venue is not included but can be arranged at an additional charge.
You can also reach the venue by local bus from Ayia Napa or Protaras.

There is a minimum of 2 people required for a tasting to go ahead and a maximum of 24 people. Singles are welcome to join with another group where available.

You must be over 18 to sample the wines.
