This private walking tour with a personal guide will introduce you to a unique area of Cyprus, off the beaten tourist track where you will experience the natural beauty and history of Cyprus.
We start our walk in the Xeros Potamos Valley where we will visit a watermill and, weather permitting, the Panagia tou Sinti Monastery. Xeros Potamos means dry river but during the winter it may hold water. There are fascinating rock formations, caves and plenty of native trees and plants along the route.
Our second walk takes in the Vouni Panagias circular walking trail which is around 8km long, starting at Pano Panagia village. This elevated village (800-1100m above sea level) leads us through vineyards, rock formations and cliffs, giving us excellent panoramic views towards Ezousa Valley and Paphos Forest.
The combination of the two trails offers a rich experience over a considerable elevation range in Cyprus. The Tour is customisable depending on your preference and on the way we can choose to visit a few attractions such as a chapel, a winery, and a monastery. We can even add winetasting or lunch at a local restaurant (additional cost). This is a small group private tour for 1-4 people with a professional guide. As it is a private tour the itinerary has some flexibility if you wish to spend longer at a stop to walk or discover additional sights.
