We don't recommend taking this tour during July / August due to the heat
The start time is around 08.30am
Including travel time to/from the walk location, this activity will take around 8 hours.
The trip is all about exploring the small park of Cape Greko, tacked between the busy (in summer) resorts of Agia Napa and Protaras. It is largely rocky (limestone) and has a number of beautiful natural attractions such as at least two Sea Cave coves/complexes. Cape Greko Rock can be seen from a far distance along the coast.
Usually we walk from Konnos beach on a circular route that it is ten km long. A trip is customisable.
During the spring months this is an especially good area for birdwatchers and there is an abundance of wildflowers including orchids and some unusual plants and flowers. During the summer months, turtles are often seen in this area and even the occasional monk seal.
Agia Napa Sea Cave Complex, Cape Greko Sea Complex, Cape Greko Rock, Agioi Anargyroi chapel and Sea Cave and Konnos beach are must see attractions. The trip can be customised extensively, subject to travellers' preferences and characteristics as well as the season. In the hot season we do recommend to limit walking to the bear essentials, but nevertheless include the short 1.4 km (each way) coastal walking route from Agioi Anargyroi chapel to Konnos beach.
You can choose to either meet the guide at the tour start point or he can pick you up in his private car from your hotel/apartment in the Ayia Napa / Protaras or Larnaca areas.
Please note that if choosing pick up, this is in the guide's own private vehicle which holds private insurance. It is not a public service vehicle or taxi.
