Nicosia is a unique city. The capital of Cyprus is the only divided capital in the world and has been split, along with the rest of Cyprus since the Turkish occupation of 1974.

This private your shows you both sides of the divide with a wealth of history all around you. Starting with the Huge Venetian walls which once enclosed the city we pass by the Paphos gate entrance and towards the popular old town area - the Laiki Yeitonia. This bustling area has narrow lanes lined with little shops and shady courtyards with atmospheric cafes.

We reach the no mans lands and cross at the Ledra street crossing into the Turkish controlled area of Northern Nicosia. Here we visit the grand mosque, the vibrant bazaar and one of the most famous sites, the Buyuk Han.

The perfect tour to really get to know Nicosia and it's turbulent history, there's also plenty of shopping opportunities.
