This private walking tour with a personal guide will introduce you to the mountainous and forest area of the Troodos foothills and the Paphos Forest.
The popular and charming village of Omodos is one of the highlights of this tour. This is a prime wine-producing area of Cyprus and offers an excellent example of Cyprus rural architecture. There are a number of interesting points through the village such as a traditional man-powered grape press and the Holy Cross Monastery. This village is also home to many artists and artisans and it's labyrinth of narrow lanes contain many hidden gems. The next stop is the medieval Venetian bridge at Kelephos. The stunning natural location of this bridge is a real breath of fresh air, deep in the pine trees of the Paphos forest.
Depending on your preference we can take a scenic walk at the Kelephos Bridge or a walk at the nearby Platy valley. The tour is customisable to include wine tasting or lunch in a local restaurant (additional cost) This is a small group private tour for 1-4 people with a professional guide. As it is a private tour the itinerary has some flexibility if you wish to spend longer at a stop to walk or discover additional sights.
