Description

This tour into the Troodos Mountains takes you to visit some of the most scenic locations, along with some cultural and historically significant sites.

Visit Kouris Dam where a whole village sits under the water including the Alassa Sunken Church. Millomeris Waterfall is one of the highest waterfalls in Troodos and sits in a lush and tranquil forest. Take a dip in the fresh water or walk the forest trails. Milia Bridge is a charming medieval stone bridge in a beautiful forest setting, well off the beaten track. Pedri Dam and lake is an unspoiled and naturally peaceful setting in which to reconnect with nature.

All the above stops offer plenty of stunning photo opportunities and a real chance to get back to nature in some less visited parts of the mountains. You'll appreciate the fresh air, forest landscapes and birdsong.

Our final stop is the ever popular Omodos Village. Home to numerous artisans and deep in wine country, it's also home to the Holy Cross monastery. You can shop, wander the cobbled streets, sample locally made wines or visit the oldest wine press in Cyprus. There's plenty in Omodos to charm any visitor. We include a visit to a family run winery for a private tasting session where you can learn a little more about Cypriot Wines.

Children are welcome under their parents supervision. Please bear in mind that it is a long day with lots of travelling so may not suit all children.
