The Karpaz Peninsula offers a largely traditional landscape without much tourism influence. It's rugged wild coastline has stunning golden sand beaches, with no body on them. It's rolling hills and fields are home to wild donkeys who are very friendly!
The highlight of the tour is a visit to Apostolos Andrews Monastery, which has been a site of pilgrimage for centuries. This is the Easternmost point of Cyprus and on clear days you may see right across to Syria or to Turkey.
The area is dotted with tiny Byzantine chapels and sleepy villages which seem locked in time. A step back into the past and a day filled with nature and beautiful landscapes.
This tour lasts around 7 hours and your own private guide will show you the most interesting places in this unique area.
