Ever wanted to try surfing? There's a special place in Cyprus which is perfect for beginners and also for improvers to practise their surf skills. Just a few miles west of Larnaca airport you'll find the surf house of your dreams with professional and well experienced instructors and a really cool beach vibe. This surf lesson will not only teach you practical skills, it is really fun and a great way to experience the beautiful Mediterranean sea.

Available from February to December, weather permitting! Please book at least 3 days in advance.

Starting times are subject to weather conditions and instructor availability.

Booking

Book this Surf Lesson with a deposit. The balance will be paid directly to the surf house manager. You will receive details after booking of how to make your balance payment.

You MUST book at least 48 hours in advance. It is not possible to confirm bookings with less than 48 hours notice.

We ask that you are flexible with your date / time so that we can ensure you have the best possible experience in the right sea conditions. Please enter your date range during the booking process.

Lesson times may vary due to weather conditions and instructor availability. Again we ask that you be flexible with your times to ensure you have the best possible experience.

If you are not flexible with your date and the sea conditions are not suitable then we will have to cancel your trip.

Description

The total beginner lessons always take place in calmer sea spots with baby waves. Your first surf experience will be fun, you will get a lot of fundamental and interesting information about the waves and the sport before you practice. Surfing is an amazing sport that brings you closer to nature, the water element and your surroundings. It will improve your physical as well as your psychological health. Surf offers unlimited adrenaline and satisfaction in every single session. It is a fantastic skill to take on your travels around the world.

With 648km of coastline and endless sunny days, Cyprus is the place to be as it has the proper conditions for every water sport. Through years of searching every inch of this coastline we have found the best surf spots that Cyprus has to offer. The island has a variety of spots, some are better for beginners while others are perfect for advanced, experienced riders. Our team will introduce you or help you improve your skills through surfing lessons. Our surf lessons include theory and safety tips followed by practice.

Know before you go - Important information

Participants must be able to swim.

If the weather is not suitable for surfing we may need to reschedule your trip.

During the early/later part of the year the water can feel much colder than at peak season.

Itinerary of this activity is subject to change without prior notice due to weather conditions or reasons beyond our control. All indicated times are approximate and subject to change.

This activity is suitable for anyone aged 12 upwards

After booking you will receive a registration form where you will need to complete some basic health information. This will only take a minute or two to complete.

We recommend that you drive to the surf house as it is a little off the beaten track on a quiet stretch of coastline. Directions will be given with your booking confirmation.

Location

This activity takes place on the beach in between Pervolia and Mazotos in the Larnaca district. It is around 11km west of Larnaca airport and 17km west of Larnaca Centre.

Transport to the surf house is not included.

We recommend that you drive to the surf house as it is a little off the beaten track on a quiet stretch of coastline. Directions will be given with your booking confirmation.
