Description
For anyone interested in History, Paphos is a must visit destination. The whole town is a UNESCO world heritage site and there are ancient remains all over what was once the capital of Cyprus and an important trading point in the Mediterranean.
Suggested places to visit include Paphos harbour where the modern restaurants and yachts site beside the Byzantine fortress at the end of the dock. This medieval stone castle dominates the harbour and offers panoramic views from it's upper floors.
Close by, just adjacent to the harbour area is Paphos Archaeological Park. This sprawling wonder offers a rich insight into the Greco-Roman era with well preserved mosaics and many ruins of villas and important cultural buildings.
There's plenty of time to discover all the important sites which have been excavated here. Other places of interest in the area that we may visit include the Tombs of the Kings and the wreck of the Edro III.
This tour lasts around 7 hours and your own private guide will show you the wonders of this historic location.

Children are welcome under their parents supervision. Please bear in mind that it is a long day with lots of travelling so may not suit all children.
